The #NoFoulPlay Pledge

  • I believe that girls and women have an equal right to play, coach, officiate and enjoy football without being mocked, abused or harassed.
  • I will not discriminate against anybody in my team or in the football community on the basis of their gender identity, sexual orientation, caste, region, religion, nationality, economic status, physical and mental ability, or appearance.
  • I commit to speaking up against physical and verbal harassment, discrimination, and violence against women - on and off the pitch.
  • I will do everything in my capacity to support those facing harassment or discrimination in the football community.
  • I will use my position and power within the football community in a fair and responsible manner.
  • I will reflect on my own beliefs, behaviours, and prejudices related to gender and sex and challenge others to do the same.
  • I will educate myself about the challenges that women in sport face and I will sensitise those around me.
  • I will work towards making my team or club a #NoFoulPlay ally by creating a culture that has zero tolerance for all foul play
